A popular everlasting flower, grown all the year round, producing a mass of globular flowers. Sow seeds directly and cover with a light layer of soil, as darkness aids germination. It takes nearly 15 to 20 days to germinate. Transplant 30cm (1 ft) apart. Height: 2 ft. Tolerates heat and attracts butterflies. The flower heads make very good dried flowers, simply hang them upside down in a well-ventilated place.
