Sow seeds directly into the garden and into well prepared soil. Lightly cover seeds with ¼ inch of soil since zinnia seeds need light to germinate. Keep soil moist until plants are established. Normally seeds should germinate within 4 to 7 days. When zinnia seeds reach about 4 inches tall, give plants a quarter strength application of a liquid fertilizer. Zinnia like to be well watered especially young. Full range of colours. Blooms up to 5in.across on sturdy plants; great for cutting. Height 2 ½ ft.
