ABTEC Bacillus belongs to PGPR family. It controls plant diseases and promotes growth. ABTEC Bacillus is available in both wettable powder and liquid formulation.

 MODE OF ACTION
ABTEC Bacillus controls the growth of certain harmful bacteria and fungi by competing for nutrients, growth sites on plants and by directly colonizing and attaching to fungal pathogens. Seed treatment with ABTEC Bacillus provides a protective zone around seeds. It also acts as a plant growth promoter. Since ABTEC Bacillus is an aerobic spore forming bacteria, they remain viable on the leaf surface long after it has been sprayed.

Highly effective against Phytophthora sp., Alternaria sp., Â Â Â Â Corticium sp., Fusarium, Rhizoctonia sp. etc.

DOSAGE & METHOD OFAPPLICATION
ABTEC Bacillus is mainly used for direct soil application. It can be used for foliar spraying also. Apply in wet soil as basal dose along with organic manure and refresh it periodically along with organic manure. The normal dosage of ABTEC Bacillus is 10 ml/l per plant.
Seed Treatment: For seeds mix 10 ml ABTEC Bacillus / kg of seeds.Seedlings or planting setts can be dipped for 30 minutes    @ 250 – 500 ml per 50 to 60 litre water before planting. After each treatment allow the seed / seedling / sett to dry in shade for 30 minutes before planting.
Soil Application:Â Mix 2 litre ABTEC Bacillus (for 1 acre) with 200 kg ABTEC Super Organic Manure or Farm Yard Manure and apply in moist soil / base of trees.
Foliar Spray:Â Mix 500 ml ABTEC Bacillus in 50 litres of water and spray on the foliage during evening hours.
